1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern use of rwrcso.com and its member services, operated for the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) Roblox roleplay community. By using the portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the member services.
RCSO is a fictional roleplay organization. This website is not a real government service, law enforcement agency, or emergency reporting channel. It is not operated by or officially affiliated with Roblox Corporation or OpenAI. Department policies and training materials describe roleplay activities and are not real-world legal or law enforcement guidance.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
Signed-in member services are intended for users aged 13 or older who meet their sign-in provider’s eligibility requirements. If you are a minor, obtain any parent or guardian permission required by applicable law and the relevant service. Do not use another person’s identity or account.
Keep your sign-in account secure, provide accurate community account information, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. RCSO will not ask for your Roblox password, authentication code, or Roblox security cookie.
Member services use Connect with Roblox to verify your Roblox user ID and public profile. No email address is requested for new registrations. Website permissions are managed separately from Roblox group membership.
3. Membership and permissions
Signing in does not automatically make you an RCSO or SRT member, grant a Roblox group role, or provide staff access. New accounts begin as Registered Members. The website owner assigns SRT Operator, SRA Instructor, or SRT Command permissions based on approved community responsibilities. SRT Command does not grant Website Administrator access.
Instructor and command tools must be used only within the permissions granted to your account. Do not share restricted records or give another person access through your account. Access may be limited or suspended when needed to address misuse, account compromise, loss of an authorized role, or violations of these terms or applicable community rules.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the portal for legitimate community reference, training, and administration.
- Do not impersonate another member, falsify records, or misrepresent qualifications.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, access another member’s private records, interfere with the website, or upload malicious files.
- Do not harass others or upload unlawful, abusive, or unrelated sensitive personal information.
- Respect the confidentiality and distribution restrictions attached to member records and division materials.
5. Training, evaluations, and certifications
Knowledge checks record attempts and scores. They do not automatically award academy graduation, certification, deployment authority, or staff permissions. Qualifications must be confirmed through the approved community training and command process.
The Special Response Academy does not offer sniper certification. Warrant certification is handled through a separate course; reading warrant procedures does not award certification.
Authorized evaluators are responsible for submitting accurate, relevant records and selecting the correct recipient. Members may ask command to review factual errors or disputed records through department channels. These terms do not create new deployment rules or replace approved department policies.
6. Content and supporting documents
Submit only material that you are authorized to provide. By submitting content, you permit the community and its service providers to store, display, and process it as needed to operate the portal, maintain records, and administer training and evaluations. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content.
Department materials, images, logos, and third-party resources remain subject to their owners’ rights and any applicable distribution restrictions. Viewing or downloading material does not grant permission to republish restricted content.
7. Privacy and external services
Our Privacy Policy explains how portal information is handled. Authentication, hosting, Roblox, Discord, Google Drive, and other external services have their own terms and policies. A link does not guarantee that an external resource will remain available or that every visitor has permission to access it.
8. Availability and information accuracy
The portal may be updated, interrupted, or temporarily unavailable. We work to keep information accurate, but errors or outdated materials may occur. Confirm current operational authority and training status through the approved department channels rather than relying solely on website content.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Questions, review, and updates
For website support, an access review, or questions about these terms, contact RCSO website administration through the RCSO Discord. Do not post private account information in public channels.
Updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated through the website or department channels. These terms concern website use; they do not silently amend the department handbook or division regulations.
